This series contains the administrative files of Jervey Kelly, Assistant Director of the Dept. of Natural Resources, from 1962 to 1974. Kelly initiated and directed the coastal survey and mapping program in Florida, the first of its kind in the United States. The records include reports, studies, and maps on water management programs in Florida. The topics covered include the Cross Florida Barge Canal, the development of Estero Bay, and the Kissimmee River channelization.
